la lucha (the wrestling)

Some say that this world is backwards and everything is distorted, off line I would like to call it. We have immense problems in our education system and people keep telling me that I have to be apart of the solution not the complication.Everyday we continue to search for the sign but the sign is us. As my wife and I have gathered @ Aqueous and with friends and family I am reminded that this journey is like a wrestling (la lucha). We wake up and it is a unending battle of the mind, addictions, and isolations. Life is a lucha for me becuase I am at times constricted by the mind. I am powerless and paralyzed when I am not in the word, dialouge, communion or community. It is in the word that I find hope, it is in dialouge that helps me to live a life of critical thinking, it is in communion that my suffering melts away and it is in community that I am liberated.
